This modern oasis is the result of a complete reimagining of a 1960's walkout rambler set on a serene hilltop overlooking the serenity of Shavers Lake. The kitchen scullery allows ample pantry storage and serves as an out of sight prep area. Folding windows on the East wall open directly from the kitchen counter to the vaulted cedar screen porch for warm weather entertaining. A primary suite at the West end of the home promotes rest and relaxation. Highlighted by great views from the large windows, the built in bookshelves sit at an angle for an uncluttered view while a wood slat floating wall separates the sleeping area the spa like bathroom and closet / laundry area. Artisan made tiles give a soft touch while a simple central soaking tub anchors the bathroom space. Along with the full house renovation, the designers and builder incorporated two small additions to improve the space and functionality of the main entry points. The main outcome is the generous foyer and the mudroom areas. This gave space for a charming guest suite on the main level along with a separate powder room and a one of a kind office / work space, complete with a device charging area. The heated three car garage includes extra space at the front and both sides for storage racks, shelves and cabinets. The walkout lower level features a lower family room with a big window overlooking the back yard and pool area. A dry bar give convenient space for snacks and drinks at the pool. A built in double sided couch, flanked by built in shelves, delineates between the family room and the amusement room (currently used for ping pong and exercise equipment). The three lower level bedrooms all have their own unique features. One includes it's own en-suite 3/4 bath while the other two share a bathroom, each with their own sink. One of the bedrooms includes a small reading or play nook under the stairs while the other gets pool / back yard views. From the pool, there is a direct entrance into a changing area and separate 1/2 bath to help keep the lower level dry! The landscaping, pool and pool equipment were all new with the 2020 renovation. The classic garden house in NE corner is built on a foundation with a crawl space; floors and walls appear to be stable and there was running water and electricity at one point.
