This is a ridiculously long post that could just as easily be summed up in one sentence: You’d be crazy not to go with this guy. 

Travis couldn’t have been a more patient, kind, knowledgeable agent. We saw whatever house we wanted to see, when we wanted to see it. And he returns your calls. Every last one. Which for us was a lot of calls.He was always thinking about what houses might work for us. I remember surfing online and finding what I thought might be the perfect house. As I clicked the “send” button to email Travis about it, at that very instant an email from him popped up in my inbox with the exact same house.

Travis comes from a family of remodelers. I think this might be what gives him such good insight as to what makes a property worth its value. He’s got a great eye for craftsmanship and on many occasions saved us from a potential money pit.

If you look at his site, you’ll see he sells a lot of homes and keeps very, very busy. But the most impressive part about Travis is he makes you feel like you’re his only client. He does things that go way beyond his job description. He found us a cheaper title company, helped us negotiate for new windows from the sellers. And then he called installers and researched the best windows for us to get! He even called our mortgage lender when we were having trouble getting information from them. He’s a tireless advocate for anything that involves you finding the perfect home.

We’re first-time home buyers and we honestly had no idea what to look for in an agent. We went to one of his open houses and just liked the way he let us walk around without badgering us. He wasn’t the slightest bit pushy.  He told us at the very beginning that it didn’t matter to him how long it took us to find a house. In the end, it took about 6 months. We saw over 50 houses. And during all that time, I never got the feeling even for an instant that Travis was losing his patience. He genuinely cared about making sure we found a house we loved.

We’re moving in this Saturday, and we couldn’t be more excited. We expected to fall in love with whatever house we bought. What we didn’t expect was that we would fall in love with the agent.    Kevin & Andrea Freidberg       (Bought in St. Paul)

I especially liked that you were thinking about and experimenting with new strategies and not just doing the same things every other agent was doing. The marketing of my house exceeded my expectations–having the input of a stager was so helpful, and the photography really was killer. The process of setting appointments, handled by Kendra, was flawless; she never missed a beat. (In contrast we have had my mother’s home up for sale and the entire appointment process was full of missteps. ugh!). Your execution of the process was timely, accurate and efficient. Travis knows the greater Longfellow neighborhood very well. He provided a very professional assessment of our house and presented a clear marketing plan. Once we selected Travis to sell our house, he laid out the timeline and things that needed to be done before listing the house. We worked together to list at a good price, and generated a lot of foot traffic to sell the house quickly and very close to list price.

Travis assisted us in both selling and purchasing our present home. Travis was always available and would be able to get us showings immediately with little or no notice. Travis lives in the general area where we were selling and wanted to buy. This was helpful, as he had direct knowledge of the local comps and was able to provide accurate advice on setting a price for selling and for bidding on the new one.
